Greensward March - Leaf and Blade
Greensward : Considered a “March” under the rule of the Forest Kingdom, Greensward is a territory patrolled by the elves of the Kingdom of Imladris and the rangers of the Westlaws in an effort to bring the wildlands under some sort of peace. A broad swath of forest and hills, it bears numerous caves, ruins and regions touched by the dark magic of the Realm of the Stag. It is a haven for outlaws, dangerous brigands, and fell monsters who lurk in the darker corners of the forest’s deeper reaches.
Towns : Sentinel is an important market town of the region, trading iron, silver, wool and produce for underworld goods, such as exotic liquors and stonework. The bulk of its trade travels east into Mornhaven, but the fortified town of Sentinel remains a beacon of light in a rough territory just recently tamed. It should be noted that the town is located near the site of the infamous “Battle of the Great Burn”, from which most Shemite clans can trace their land claims and remains an important site of pilgrimage among traditional clan chiefs. The town itself is surprisingly cosmopolitan, with barbarians, elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, goblins and even orcs rubbing shoulders with local human merchants and farmers, and has developed a reputation as something of a center for intelligence operations between regional power groups. The elves of Imladris also maintain an envoy here, and deal openly with the local ruler, Regent-Thane Charisma Pike, making Sentinel a growing center for their trade.
