Village of Turtlebay

The Ambarin River, and the village of Timberbay, acts as the western boundary of Hexwater`s control, as it passes south through the Ambarin Valley, and thence on to Mornhaven. The small farming settlement boasts a river ferry, and a substantial dockyard, where timber is brought to float south along the river. Unlike most of the few villages under Hexwater’s control, it is relatively free from crime, and is not dominated by swamps and marshes, rather being a true river trade town. It has gained a reputation for making fine wool blankets, and its local knight, Sir Turtlewood is best known for living up to his name and the turtle banner over his sprawling, unfortified manor.
