Central Thieves’ Guild of Mornhaven
In the central core of Mornhaven, the City of Bright Sails, the Griffons rule. This gang is a loose organization of several disparate groups of thugs, thieves and other petty criminals who have banded together for protection against the other major guilds in the city. Its leadership is in constant flux , and there is constant in-fighting. The Griffons have always been poor, and have few collective safe-houses to work with, and find themselves unable to collect regular “dues” from its members, due primarily to its weak leadership. The Griffons are seen as being in constant danger of being consumed by their rivals, the Black Hand, or simply breaking apart from within following a civil war in its own ranks for position. Their border with the Darknight Brigade has remained virtually unchanged for decades.
